The rules just changed. Marketing departments are pivoting hard. AI is the new superpower, giving you capabilities and speed, but it’s a high-stakes game. The biggest mandate? Stop selling and start standing for something. Customers now choose connection over convenience.
Join us for Session #4 of the MDA unWorkshop series, an intensive and practical dive into the world of AI-powered digital marketing. This isn't a theoretical lecture—it's a hands-on strategy session designed to give your leadership and marketing teams a direct competitive advantage. The Consumer Protection Act and Automotive Business Regulation require that licensed businesses utilize a Bill of Sale to document the terms of the sale. It serves as a protection mechanism for both the business and the consumer, as it outlines everything agreed upon in the transaction. A key best practice when it comes to the Bill of Sale is to ensure it is filled out in its entirety. We still see a high percentage of purchases where portions of the agreement are left blank.
While the MDA has a Bill of Sale that has been reviewed by AMVIC and deemed compliant, that only works when all of the information is filled in on the document. In all instances, the following information must be included on the document, in all cases:
|
- The document must accurately identify the customer (including government-issued ID), as well as the salesperson (with license number) and the Licensed Business (with license number).
- There should only be one version of the document, and the customer must be provided a copy along with any other pertinent documentation that was provided at the time of signing.
- The document must reflect an "All In Pricing" compliant price, along with the nature of the transaction, any downpayments, trade-ins or extra items as promised.
- Any mandatory fees, charges or costs must be shown separately on the document to ensure the customer is aware of all charges. (Please remember that these fees must be included in the advertised price, with the exception of GST and fees associated with the cost of credit.)
|
If you need help with any of the Bill of Sale requirements, please reach out to the MDA Office.

Demystifying Fixed Operations for General Managers and Owners
If the first session was about building the engine of Fixed Ops, this session is about uncovering the high-performance drivers who navigate it. The Service Advisor is the most critical link between your dealership’s profitability and your customers’ loyalty. However, in an era of digital transparency and rising consumer expectations, "good enough" communication is a thing of the past.
This one-day session shifts the focus to front-line execution. We will delve into the psychology of the modern service customer, the art of transparent selling, and the technical habits that distinguish top-performing advisors from the rest of the pack.
Why Attend?
This is a practitioner’s workshop. Attendees will leave not just with theories, but with dealership-tested methods with blueprints, communication templates, and a renewed sense of ownership over their role. Whether you are an experienced advisor looking to sharpen your edge or a manager looking to standardize excellence across your team, this session provides the foundational elements for a world-class service drive.
A delicious lunch will be provided to all registrants as part of your registration fee.
