MDA Benevolent Society

In the Fall of 2006 the subject charitable organization was incorporated for the specific purpose of providing (1) additional financial assistance to member automotive apprentices and (2) donations to dealer recommended, deserving organizations and/or events at the community level.  Eventually the MDA hopes to qualify for a “Casino Night” every year from the Alberta Gaming Commission which will ultimately provide the main source of funding for the Society.

Member dealers are able to recommend local charities, societies and not-for-profit events in their communities to be considered for a donation from the Benevolent Society.  By pooling the charitable nature of dealers, we are better able to distribute funds, and communicate these gestures to the public, media and community at large.
